Kitchen Assistant

Bethlehem Academy is accepting applications for a part time kitchen assistant on our hot lunch team for the 2024-2025 school year. The position is part-time, generally working from 7:30am to 1:30pm Monday and Tuesday from August to May when school is in session in the building. 

Responsibilities include: 

1. Work as a member of a team to prepare daily school lunches.
2. Food preparation to include cutting and washing fruits and vegetables, cooking and baking items for the daily menu. 
3. Serve hot lunch to the student body.
4. Maintain, stock, and clean up the salad and fruit bar during and after the student lunch periods.
5. Assist with kitchen clean up at the end of each shift.

Qualifications: 

1. Successful completion of: Virtus training
2. Enjoy working with adolescents on a daily basis
3. Ability to successfully work as a member of a team
